Wow, I've never seen a French keyboard and I didn't know it was different from a QWERTY. The input code in the game is largely unchanged from the original, except for the removal of mouse control, since the original mouse control seemed even worse than useless and the possibility that keyboard control would be unavailable didn't enter my mind.
I'll try to think of a way to address this since there's already a future update planned. In the meantime, if you have or can find a keyboard with a number pad, you should be able to use that for movement with a more sensible layout.
