: Agreed. This may have been the premise for 'Marathon 3' before Jason decided
: to go another direction (Myth) and 'Marathon 3' became a 'scenario' (Blood
: Tides of Lh'owon).

Good theory. Maybe somebody should talk to Jason about that? ;)

: Durandal talks about visiting a 'ruined world' and a 'rogue star'. Are they
: one in the same? I've always found this confusing. A star is a sun so the
: 'ruined world' is unlikely to be on the star, though it could be orbiting
: it. Perhaps they meant a rogue planet?

That's what I assumed at first, given that the word 'world', when used in a sci-fi context, means either:

A) A planet, or
B) Some artificial world, like in Halo

The most likely meaning in this case is (A), given that we haven't really seen any artificial worlds in the Marathon series. Even the Marathon itself was only semi-artificial, so yeah, I'd assume planet.

Vale,
Perseus
