	In Response To: Eternal X Commentary: "The Far Side Of Nowhere" (Forrest of B.org) : Eternal X Director's Commentary, Part 0 : [L00-T1-Unfinished] : (This terminal was originally much longer, with a detailed description of how : your internal Cybernetic Adjunct program, which is responsible for such : fancy features as automatic in-place text translation, has been keyed to : automatically color-code shield chargers in your vision, thus explaining : why they are different colors in Eternal - though that was actually an : aesthetic choice on my part. There was also an explanation of how the : ability to interface with Pfhor pattern buffers has been reactivated, it : having previously been deactivated to prevent the Pfhor from recovering : your pattern and using it against humanity, which segued into a discussion : of how your Jjaro Cybernetic Junction interacts with pattern buffer : technology, thus explaining part of the "you were dead a thousand : times" bit from the Infinity epilogue. And finally, Hathor reminded : you that just because she's inside your internal network, doesn't mean she : can just talk to you in your head, ala Cortana from Halo; you've still got : to have a terminal for her to use for a display. All of this was meant to : serve as something of a newbie guide to Marathon gameplay features that : non-Marathoners might not have been familiar with, terminals and pattern : buffers and chargers and all, but it was cut due to length complaints.) I like my terminals long and my story thorough and insightful. The last time I had procured Eternal (I think it was pre-Halo 3, since that's when I got into Marathon as there was no Halo to consume), I really liked the explanation as to how the Pattern Buffers worked, and was confused as to why such an interesting bit of information was missing when I started up Eternal X yesterday (after a playthrough of the trilogy- I never did get to beat Infinity those years ago; not surprisingly, I'm in Marathon again as I await Halo 4.) Do you have any text files or something with cut terminals that still fit with Eternal's current canon? I'm a story buff and I like that stuff. And as there's no story page, I was wondering if there's a way to sift through Aleph One scenario terminals for future reference without having to in-window print-screen-paste every time. Enjoying the game, by the way. I can tell that this'll be awesome.
