Well, I won't lie and say I'm an expert on Marathon lore, so I had mostly forgotten about it entirely until this thread. If you haven't played it, Phoenix doesn't take place on Pfhor Prime, there are just some lore references to it because it is in the Rubicon timeline, which does take place there.
Anyway, I'm inclined to agree with Hamish -- Grn'dl Prime is probably a prison planet or something like that. It is certainly not the homeworld, in any event.
