In Response To: Re: I Don't Think We Survived That Nova... (Godot) Craaaazzzzzyyyyyyyy Thanks for the dropping this truth bomb, Hamish. I always thought that the magnolia bud image was some abnormal cybernetic-bone structure, but now that I know it's a plant I don't know how I didn't see it before. Even looking at the final "hand" image it looks less like a hand and more like a series of branches that have grown into the shape of a hand. Is that flower in the "Eat The Path" terminals also a magnolia? As for magnolias. According to wikipedia and some other online resources, magnolias have been around for a while. Fossils of plants in the Magnoliaceae family have been found that date back 95 million years ago. Magnolias evolved before the existence of bees and so they have physical adaptations to promote pollination slightly different from many other flowers. They can grow as shrubs or as trees, and one online resource claimed that magnolia trees could grow up to 80ft in height. Apparently they can be very resilient. Another source said that the magnolia has come to symbolize femininity, nobility, and perseverance.
