It's getting very tempting. I can deal with everyone having a different opinion, I'm used to working with committees, but people implying that I don't know what I'm doing at all are starting to piss me off. (Yes Joho, I know what white space is, thank you. Not everyone's design aesthetic is white on white with white accents like yours).

The idea there (which connects to the later-stage ideas) was that the top nav bar would have all of the core, important links that are really integral to a fan site. The ideal was to eventually have them all integrated into a single site, but as an intermediary step they could be a mix of links to both "hosted" and "offworld" sites; we could have Forum and Archive link to the Pfhorums and Simplici7y for now, as they are the most active forum and archive sites.
Everything that is not a core function that a fan site needs is just some niche project, and those are the links that I would have demoted to the sidebar (or behind a "Links" link, in the original plan). I wouldn't mind mixing them all together, hosted and offworld; I just kept the distinction that was already made, and didn't get rid of anything that was already there unless it was completely nonfunctional. I'm happy to mix them up and cull them down to active and historical sites.
But I do think that some sites / subsites need special emphasis still; and others like Joho seem to agree as well. I am open to debate on which those are, but even if something like Map of the Month was still active, I wouldn't say it belongs on the same level of billing as the Story Page or the Spoiler Guide.
