: It's interesting that they only use M1A1 footage for Marathon as evidenced by
: showing the Pathways into Darkness dream sequence

Sadly this will continue to happen until someone gets the original M1 to play on modern computers (without emulation) or redoes M1A1 removing all the non-canon bits and replicating the look and feel of the original by correctly implementing 'glue, glue triggers and superglue'. The Holy Trinity of Marathon.
