Ok maybe this is my fault. When I record these here is a few seconds of silence at the beginning of each track before the song starts. I am trimming this out manually. I do this by magnifying the waveform and cutting as soon as any sound is detected. Is this right? if not, then everyone is wrong and I've just wasted a lot of time and people's bandwidth. :(
