I'd say, none that matters.

And audiophile would say ARE YOU INSANE!?

The truth is that the audio goes from digital to analog to digital again. Likely over a cheap thin cable. So it's not as good as digital to digital.

But when I've done it, I think I get very good results, IMHO.

And if you really care, with more advance software you can add some spit and polish to the analog process.

You can also see it as the "better than nothing" option, in case you never find this "Holy Grail" MIDI to AIFF converter you're looking for.
