Sound and Physic question

Sound question
How can I change the sound that the main character dies to (exampe: vacbob death sound)? If my memory is correct I believe Ian did it in Marathon RED. I would like to be able to change the death sound partway in a scenario I'm going to be working on. Is this changed in the physics?
Physic question
How can I change it that you can use the assault rifle in vaccum? I looked in a standard physic model and I didn't see anything. I tire of only being able to use pistols, fusion pistols, shotguns, SMGs, and alien weapons. I would like to be able to use the assault rifle for once in vaccum only maps.
