Yes you are right about the graphic. It is inconsistent with the other failed Jjaro space station endings.
However, I believe this is one of those occasions where gameplay overruled story. Opening the game on the Jjaro space station required DA to use a terminal later associated with the Electric Sheep levels so that you got the feeling you were finding another path (finding yourself starting back). It's not consistent but without it the second level would have been more confusing IMHO.
