Ah memories. Your list reminds me of the rapid diversification Bungie underwent in the period 1996 and 1997, much of down to Eric Klein, Jr. Good or bad? Make your own mind up. But you can add to that list the licensing of the M2 engine to Zombie Studios (ZPC) and Paranoid Productions (Damage Incorporated), the publishing of Weekend Warrior (remember that game?) and the setting up of Bungie West (developer of Oni). I may have forgotten some things.
