Aleph1 Eternal right click problem

I haven't been able to map Alternate Fire to the right click on the mouse. When I try nothing happens...
I think I had a similar problem with Infinity, at first, but went back to Preference later and it worked. I've tried numerous time in Eternal and it just won't recognize the Right click ??
(Logitech Optical Mouse on a MacPro laptop)
Also, what is with the 'Success' and 'Failure' maps in Eternal ??
