In Response To: Eternal X Commentary: "Not A Natural Formation" (Forrest of B.org)

This post is all spoilers and walkthroughs for Marathon Eternal for Aleph One. For the Level list, see http://traxus.bungie.org/index.php/Eternal_Volunteers

Remember, the only thing that can kill the wraiths is the N-cannon or the blades. Both take the zero point nodules as ammo. You can use one blade in each hand. The blades use ammo very slowly, and one swing clears out anything within a radius about double the Phfor staff's radius. Watch out because the flying balls cause destruction within a short range when they die.

Rush to the building. The enemy mostly stay back from it, so despite being under fire somewhat, you can charge and save. From there, you take very long but fast elevator rides to different rooms to gradually open up your path.

This is another level where the enemy just regenerate when you kill them, though at their regeneration point, where-ever that is. So, you can't reduce their number, but you can re-arrange them.

If you brought an uplink chip with you, it will make the level easier, however, it is good to go get the uplink chip from this level (top of the mountain) before leaving this level.

There is a very difficult part at the top of a cliff. There are a series of switches, then a charger. I died a lot, trying to use the charger. I probably should have just hit all the switches, dove into the water, taken the elevator up, returned to where I first appeared on the cliff, then used the newly operational elevator and path to the left to exit. OTOH, there are more enemies to come.

I kept climbing the circular stairs in the centre of the exit room, but never found anything to reward my efforts. Maybe I missed something.
