In Response To: Reason for the M1A1 opening? (Doomguy) I'd also prefer to drop the PID opening, or leave that version of "Arrival" as a hidden map that leads back into the rest of the game. But then, I see M1A1 as more of a loving homage to M1 than a replacement. (Ever since I started to vid one of my favorite levels, "Low-Flying Defense Drones," and found my usual moves useless against a completely different set of monster reactions.)
