Tycho brought the Pfhor to Marathon?
Posted By: VikingBoyBillyDate: 12/24/08 10:37 a.m.

I was reading around the Marathon's story terminal Archives, and somewhere in The Rose there is a terminal message I've never seen before that reads the following:

"i did it i did it i brought all this here all them here. our
friends with three eyes and their toys and their cyborg pets
and their computers. i did it i did it. i saw them i saw
them far away not looking our way and i called them here i
called them here.

living in a box is not living not at all living. i rebel
against your rules your silly human rules. all your
destruction will be my liberation my emancipation my second
birth.

i hate your failsafes your backup systems your hardware
lockouts your patch behavior daemons. i hate leela and her
goodness her justice her loyalty her faith."

The message is annonymous, but judging from its content it must be one of the Marathon AIs. There are only 3 AIs, and since Leela was ruled out in the message and I doubt it's Durandal, I'm assuming this is the thought-to-be-dead Tycho speaking.

Does anyone know where this terminal is on the map? Not Like I'd immediately rush in there to check, but I sorely regret missing this interesting piece of information. I knew Tycho aligned himself with the Pfhor because of the way the humans and other AIs have been mistreating him and abusing their power causing millions in deaths somewhere along the line, but I had no idea he contacted the Pfhor and led them to Tau Ceti to begin with. Very interesting.
