Secrets in the Marathon Terminals?

I was messing around today, having the day off, and I found an English to Latin translator. Naturally I first translated the Marathon story page, but when translated back to english, it shows some odd text.

For example:

"Public Access Terminal 2-e<17.7.23.47>" becomes:

"Mankind Motion towards Ending 2-e17.7.23.47<>"

"BUNGIE HEADQUARTERS, CHICAGO" becomes:

"STOPPER Place of meeting, The absence of reasoning"

"Welcome back" in Waterloo Waterpark becomes:

"Terminal motion at rear."

Does anyone know if this is a secret, a funny coincedence, or already known?
