Hi there, new "face" and surprised to find a place like this still active; Marathon just refused to die I guess :D
I've been enjoying Eternal the past few days, puzzling out a few levels and generally really liking it. Got a bit stuck on my second visit to "Unpfhorseen", but that's now cracked and I'm on to new territory. Very nice work, love the gameplay, even that fact that some levels at first seem impossible. At least I won't have the disappointment I had with Doom 3, which was just too linear and too quick to complete.
I played a version of Eternal a while back that had a couple of "placeholder" levels in it, and I enjoyed that a lot. Got stuck in a loop a few times, but dug my way out eventually and I think I played every level. Some of the Pfhor levels in the most up-to-date version seem a bit more garish, too brightly coloured for my liking, but overall it's extremely impressive stuff.
