In Response To: Re: Story in Marathon Eternal (Forrest of B.org)

: Everybody dies, except the ones who mysteriously disappear. That's usually
: how my stories end.

: (This is a joke. Mostly.)

: Distorted vision is indicative of a level being a dream.

: Yes.

: It's a dream. Though, not a normal dream like you or I would have; a dream
: where the monsters are as real as you conceive them to be; the kind of
: dream that haunts the fleeting sleep of gods and demons.

: I probably couldn't (make it short and easy), but I'd be interested to see
: other people try. See what the popular Cliff Notes understanding of the
: story is. I've probably talked about it enough here that everybody already
: pretty much gets it.

: (On an interesting side note, I just discovered that this is the top result
: on Google for the phrase "forever my greatest and only love",
: beating out even the MSP KYT Term page. I think that's such an awesome
: trailer, I'm gonna make it the splash screen for eternal.bungie.org. That
: bottom image which is now broken was the banner that's now at the top of
: the Eternal site),

So if those time loop lvls were dreams then technically you never kept traveling back into time. So is the whole game a dream? Are you really just sleeping? Because the time loop lvls were important parts of the game but if they were all a dream then thats different. Did
Hathor (i think thats how you spell that insane woman thing) escape? We are told she escaped in a Pfhor ship.

Also before you were given orders by that Jjaro AI and fighting PiD creatures were in control by Leela. Leela was going to activate that installation i think so how did you come into contact with the Jjaro AI because when you do it seems you are in the future.

Sorry for bothering you with all these questions the story is just hard for me to understand.
