ME: Texture bug on S'pht ia?

On S'pht ia, I noticed that if you went into the elevator in the room with the 1X charger* and PB before Leela's first terminal, you'd be taken to a high passageway leading to the room where Durandal would have teleported in a whack of ammo and other goodies in M2 - I noticed the textures on the walls seem a little off - behind the criss-crossing X patterns are chunky brown squares. Is this intentional?

*If I'm not being clear, it's the equivalent to the room with Durandal's first terminal on Eat It, Vid Boi, from M2.
