I'd like to know anyway, if you could check. You might not be getting the full experience if you're running in software mode. Could you please, for my sake, take a look in the Graphics panel of the Preferences (in Eternal) and tell me whether it says "Software" or "OpenGL"? If you're in Software mode... you're not seeing Eternal at all how it was meant to be seen.

Also, what kind of computer are you running? Like, what kind or processor and video card, or at least, how old is it? Very old computers may not take to OpenGL mode nicely.
