In Response To: Re: Angry at Eternal (Forrest of B.org)

: Hmm, which platforms in Unlucky for Some were giving you trouble? I thought
: most of the jumps in that level were catapult-assisted...

After the second catapult-assisted jump is a room with three, hexagonal diamond-shaped platforms - getting to the first two is trivial, but from the 2nd to the 3rd really frustrated me until I realized that the trick was to align my body so that I was pointing at just the right way to catch that extra bit of the third platform when I jumped off the second. But that was by pure luck.

: Likewise, which part of Incredible Hulk was hard for you? IIRC there's only
: four jumps you need to make on that level and those are all straight lines
: with long runs leading up to them.

After the big battle between the black Major Hunters, the pink Juggernaut, the Drinniol, and The Incredible Hulk is that path you take along side the cliff face, which leads you to the winding plateaus. After the first jump, the second jump is to a ledge on the adjacent plateau which is just a little bit higher than what you would need if you were to just run straight across. Okay, so I need to do a grenade hop, but I couldn't seem to time it right; I always ended up falling short.

: Babylon X I admit is kind of a bitch though, at least that part near the
: beginning. But that's just... hmm I think another four jumps, and then no
: more after that. So if you can get past the part you're stuck on it's
: clear sailing from there on out, and there should be no more jumping
: puzzles for another 15 or so levels after that. (I must forewarn you
: though; "Where Giants Have Fallen", the last level before the
: epilogue, is one giant jumping puzzle).

*faints*

: Hmm! Actually I'm kind of happy with this then. I was worried that the
: "Incredible Hulk" (as I call him; the "Drinniol from
: Hell" as you call him) would be too short-lived for anyone to notice
: him... cause it's easy to just run past him if you know he's there. If
: people are having to run with him after falling off those ledges I think
: that assuages some of my concerns here...

Well, the black hulk moves at an ungodly speed, so if you're not careful he could run up to you and whack you real good. Oh yeah, and thanks for making him completely invulnerable to anything, including the Wave Motion Cannon. :P

Actually, the real trick for me was to just blow past the battle centred around the black hulk - if I tried to just indiscriminately kill everything, there would be nothing to distract the hulk from me while I was making my attempts.

And don't worry, your little friend is rather hard to miss...
