Glitch in "This Message Will Self Destruct"?

Glitch in "This Message Will Self Destruct"?

I hate to show up with another problem, but at the end of "This Message Will Self Destruct" I'm finding that once I start the lava flowing and I reach the upper chamber I never seem to get teleported until the lava kills me and I die. Then I end up dead on the ground in the next level. If the lava kills me right as I get in the door, then I'll be teleported to the next level (dead and useless, of course), but, I've also gotten well past the door and almost as far as the terminal, but still only get teleported after the lava gets me and I die.
Do I have to actually be able to reach the terminal to successfully be teleported? Is that even possible?
Some help would be appreciated.
I'm now using version Final 5, by the way.
