They definitely went underwater sometimes. That makes me wonder if there's even a way to make a flying monster (such as a Tick, also) avoid a liquid entirely. Are there any lava levels with flying enemies in the OT? Also, even if they can be made afraid of water, the un-crusher could still push them under it. So it might have to go if you fixed the problem.
