In Response To: Re: chapter 5 terminal needing editing (patrick) : I submit that poly 394's terminal should not contain this exit message--it
Ah, I wasn't even aware that you could exit from other than the terminal near that view; I should fix that. : Additional Comments: 1) Gravitronic blades can kill Nightmares drifting
Hmmm I'm not sure, I'll have to check that out. (Not on a computer with Eternal on it right now, visiting family for Christmas). : 2) Again, it's my opinion that this texture set does not look good applied
What is it that you dislike about that texture set? I actually found it one of my favorites; Pfhor and Human being the best, this one being nice when used right, and the Jjaro ("Drinniol") and S'pht sets looking the worst. I did note what you observe on these ship levels though, that they don't look a lot like ships. I tried to discourage Don from using the rock textures on these levels but that rather severely limits the available textures to use. I'm hesitant to use the Jjaro texture set on these levels - though these textures are also Jjaro textures, they are supposed to be from a much earlier era in Jjaro history, and I call them "Forerunner" textures as they were modelled somewhat after Halo's Forerunner environments. But you know, the Jjaro texture set is the least-used in the entire scenario (each chapter has one Pfhor, one Human, and one Forerunner level, plus seven levels in its particular texture set; except Chapter 4, which has four Pfhor levels). So maybe giving the two ship levels in Chapter 5 an overhaul might be a good idea after all. : 3) My opinion has not changed since MK V that Eternal's strongest narrative
: Even though this moment is locked down within the larger plot the way it
: I do find it worthy of note that my favorite moment in a story committed to
I'm glad you like it. I've often wondered if that whole bit seemed too gimmicky, so it makes me smile to hear that it works well. :-)
