Using Marathon weapons in online MMORGs

I play Dead Awaken (http://www.deadawaken.com/signup.php?refId=2665 if you wanna sign up and give me a referer bonus). We were just given the ability to make our own weapons. Being a huge Marathon fan, the choice was obvious, the SPNKR-X17 SSM Launcher (Lazyboy)! It's supposed to be the most damaging weapon, so the missle launcher wins out. I get to do as many as I can afford and I'm starting here. What I'm hung up is what the hit and miss text ought to be. I'm not terribly creative and all the ideas I've come up with have sounded dumb to me. Any suggestions would be great. The text should follow this format (a Machete is the example here):
Hit: You hack an arm off of xxxxxxxx with your machete
Miss: You hack with your machete at xxxxxxxx but he manages to evade the attack
The best I came up with was:
You loosen a rocket at xxxxxxxx and the spanking commences
and
You loosen a rocket at xxxxxxxx but his butt is too skinny and the shot goes wide
And that didn't sound very funny or Marathony.
