I would suspect that Durandal might have found out a lot about the Pfhor computer technology and possible compatibility with it from the S'pht. After all, aren't they pretty much more computer-savvy than the Pfhor? Tycho, of course, was rebuilt by the S'pht based upon Durandal's (rampant) template, so his compatibility with Pfhor computers is a no-brainer - the S'pht would probably have built him based around the technology they'd been forced to work with for however many hundreds of years.
But Durandal was never really deconstructed or otherwise tampered with in any major ways by the S'pht in M1, unless I'm remembering things wrong. Still, I'd think they would have been invaluable to him once they made a truce. Telling Durandal how to adapt himself to Pfhor computers in order to steal the ship would be to their advantage.
