Apparently Luigi Renaldo was a one-off guest character on an episode of The Untouchables? And it'll be out on DVD September 25, so I guess we can try to get someone to watch it then.
Default assumption (null hypothesis): The series had no particular influence on the games, and the episode was just something that the writer happened to have watched or overheard while or shortly before writing the terminal. Either that, or it's a reference to something else not on the Internet; perhaps even a shout-out to a private individual he knew.
