Yes, but it isn't anything new to the XBLA scene.

Umm...all games on Xbox 360 support HD...it isn't forced. And yes, even XBLA games support HD.

Matchmaking isn't that big a deal...XBLA Doom has it, albeit a simple one. Voice chat is a part of the Xbox Live interface...no real work involved. As far as saving games in co-op goes...who cares? I don't think anyone new to Marathon would care if they couldn't save their game in co-op; they'd just want whatever level they were playing to become unlocked after having played through it...saving in general could just be replaced by "checkpoint" terminals anyway.

Agreed. Still...I can't help but think Marathon on 360 will happen eventually.
