What about source.bungie.org's instructions:


Download a Scenario and Aleph One for your OS. Drag Aleph One into the scenario folder.

or marathon.sourceforge.net's instructions:


To play, download the engine and some game content from the links below, and copy the engine into the directory with the game content.

made you think you should copy all the files? I'm really asking, how can we make those instructions clearer :(

Not just that, but you didn't just move the files, you also removed the old Scripts folder, or things would have still worked fine!
