I don't mean this as an insult. But, if people overly use the Trooper Rifle weapon you may want to look it over. It sounds like it's overpowered. Or did you mean because thats all they'd have?
If you want to make people use other weapons, make enemies that are only weak against certain types of damage? You probably already knew that...I actually haven't played very far through Eternal myself.
