In Response To: What's in a color? (My Name)

: I've read about what's in a name, but nothing about what is in a color. I've
: serached, and have came up with nothing.

Colors are usually composed of various frequencies of electromagenetic radiation in the 450-750 terahertz range, in combination with certain physiological constructs on the retina, producing a neurological phenomenon in regions of the brain such as the lateral geniculate nucleus and of course the visual cortex as well.

Beyond that, if you want to know about the "qualia" or "what it's like" of color, well... plenty of smart people have searched for the answers to those sorts of questions and come up with nothing themselves, so at least you're in good company. :-)
