Thank you, I'm rather fond of the new menus/etc myself. Tell me, how well do the splash screens time with the music? In NIBs and classic Marathon, it seemed like the load screens always switched right on cue with the piano chords, such that the guitars came in full force right when the main menu finished fading in. But now in SDL is seems ever so slightly faster. (I notice that the epilogue screen, which is also timed to music, seems to scroll faster too). Gregory said before that he didn't think the timing would be the same on all computers. How does it time for you?

You mean you can see the main menu, i.e. New Game, etc, flickering behind the loading screen? Does this happen in any other scenarios with loading screens? Sounds like it may be an Aleph bug.

The information in that terminal is necessary to establish the backstory. However, that information may be conveyed through the new prologue piece I was commissioning earlier. Do you think it would be better to leave the terminal there, and let people skip it if they don't care; or to remove it and make people read the external prologue to get the backstory info? (That prologue was previously in a separate file, but then people were emailing me confused as to what was going on, cause they didn't read that file).
: Bobs could perhaps teleport out in the beginning area. They crowd the tight

Unfortunately, since this is the early Marathon, point-to-point transporters don't yet exist, and barring Lua, I can't make the Bobs run to a jump pad to teleport out. Maybe I should just widen the hallways

Credit where credit is due... all the architecture you've seen thus far is Don's, and the projectiles are from James Hastings-Trew's "shots fired". But I'm glad you like them.
Don commented once that the transition from the Jjaro textures on the prologue to the Marathon textures in Chapter 1 was a bit jarring (the Jjaro textures being newer and thus shinier). What did you think of that transition?
