In Response To: are there any complete ports (Murglen) To my knowledge, there are were at least two efforts to port the content of the original Marathon to other game engines: Marathon: Rampancy - this was an effort to port the multiplayer component of Marathon to the UT engine, which was released as a beta. There were future plans to port the single player levels also, but those fell by the wayside. Marathon Arena - a similar effort, but for Q3A. Currently defunct. Marathon to Half-Life - this was a project to port Marathon to the original Half-Life engine though to my knowledge I don't know if it got anywhere. That's pretty much it, in general. So no, there are no *complete* ports of Marathon to any other engine.
