: Anyone in here who read the Aleph One development mailing list some time in
: November may remember that I was beginning to write an (object) editor in
: Lua. I gave up on it because Lua simply didn't have what I needed to read
: the bytes from the map file, and I haven't done anything since.

Yeah, I remember that. We were all trying to figure out if Lua would work and then someone suggested Java and someone else said Java sucked and I was impressed at how well everyone managed to stay on topic after that. :)

As for your new project, rock on. When you start getting something solid let us know and we can start helping out. I am more available as a Java programmer than a C/C++ programmer. I would love to jump in on something Marathon related, but the A1 code scares me. :P

: and if, in the future, you want to look at all posts about this editor, check
: the link I included at the bottom of the post (in the Link field).

Monitored. Blogspot, eh? I think I have an account there somewhere...
