I look forward to seeing your reply, however I don't see how we disagree. All I'm saying is:

(1) Either backward time-travel would result in paradoxes (making it logically impossible to affect the past), or it wouldn't (making it logically possible to affect the past).

(2) If it is possible, either the effects of it were already accounted for in the original timeline (implying loops in the diagram of timelines), or they weren't (implying branches in the diagram of timelines).

You seem to be saying that it is possible (you can affect the past) and does not loop (the effects are not already accounted for), which just is what I'm calling multilinear time.
