In Response To: Working on enhancing item/weapon textures... (LegacyTyphoon) A few corrections and tweaks: : Pistol Ammo: .44 Mega Class
Vacuum enabled is redundant: more or less all modern ammunition is already vacuum capable. The magazines (not clips!) hold eight rounds each, and the ammuntion is generic .44 Magnum, though you can probably keep the teflon coating reference since that exists but isn't a standard feature. : AR Ammunition: .75 Rifle
The caliber isn't .75; that's neither practical nor physically plausible, and given its weak performance I wouldn't call it high velocity either. Better call it "7.5x37mm UESC" or some such. : SMG Ammunition: 4x10mm Flechette
Caliber would be 10x25mm or some such; I'd call it "10x25mm discarding sabot flechette". : On the guns - Engraved text on barrels
A more realistic rendering would be something like "MEGA CLASS -- .44 MAGNUM". : AR: MA-75B BATTLE RIFLE
Assault rifle, not battle rifle. Real assault rifles don't have" assault rifle" stamped on them, so just put "MA-75B -- cal 7.5x37". The reference you're thinking of is the "mighty M1A2 BR", wich never appeared outside the Marathon Infinity manual. I question the grenade launcher being 40mm; it would be hard to fit seven rounds into a cylinder and still be able to carry it. 25mm would be better. : SMG: KKV-7 10MM FLECHETTE SUBMACHINEGUN Again, lose the submachine gun part; it's redundant. : on the back of the shells and grenade shells
Teflon rounds don't require special brass and .44 is a high velocity round by default, so call it something like "ACME ARMS -- .44 REM MAGNUM". : AR Shells: .75 HV ROUND See above regarding the MA-75 ammo. I suggest "ACME ARMS -- 7.5x37mm". : SMG Shells: 4x10MM SABOT Ditto. "ACME ARMS -- 10MM AUTO". : Grenade shells: - Seen on the in-hand model of the AR
"25mm HE-DP" is more realistic. Sorry if I sound a little harsh, but I'm a stickler for accuracy.
