It seems the plot in these terminals mirror the path and time jumps of the player, each ending badly together in the same time period with either the wrong path or the bodies in the hangar. Whether these two can be correlated as dreams of the player, or simply allegories of each other as therm implies helps make sense of it. Why this particular story was chosen or the significance of the knife and its symbols are something I've debated for a while. Maybe the players failure could correspond to the pfhor writing on the knife and its availability or bloody usefulness to the dream protagonist....
