Well, it's official. The boxes have arrived and Rubicon X has shipped :)

I've had the pleasure of being a beta tester and although I didn't have the time to contribute nearly as much as I'd have liked, I've played everything through at least once and can say that this is a very solid build. And unlike most AO upgrades to major scenarios, this is much more than an upgrade. As you'll discover right away, there are some added levels and even the level's you thought you knew so well have new features and a few new secrets ;) And some of the levels have been gutted and completely redone. And there's that lingering rumor about a secret new Tycho plank . . . hmm . . . I wonder if anyone will actually find it 8^D

I think we should all thank Chris for giving up so much of his life to make Rubicon X really rock!

Now one of the things that everyone will probably notice is that there's no link to a Spoiler Guide on the new Rubicon X page. There's a good reason for that - there isn't one. The old Spoiler Guide will suffice for many of the levels, but it would really be nice to have an update. Do I hear anyone out there interested in volunteering?

Speaking of Volunteers, my original Volunteers Series on Rubicon will need to be updated for Rubicon X. I'm quite busy now and I think everyone needs some time to play around with RX a bit first, but I intend to lead an update in the not too distant future. If I have the time, I'll even get the my Rubicon page back on-line and update it for RX as well.
