One day it will be awesome to have your birthday on the same day the Marathon is attacked. Make sure to be among the crew on the ship and it can be a part of your party. You can have, like, a Pfhor attack themed party. It's like a surprise party, only the guests are surprised and not you. (And you know exactly where to hide to be able to join up with the MC (Main Character, naturally) and use him as a human shield!
I'm assuming of course that they make cryosleep work sometime soon.
