My emotions went through a process, roughly this:
1) Excitement about being Internet-famous
2) Dismay that no one knew enough about Marathon to realize that this was about Marathon.
3) Acceptance. I mean, seriously. What else would you expect from the general Halo community?
No offense to you guys who participate in the Halo community, but it's pretty insane. Though, to be honest, the Marathon community is insane in very similar ways as well. The difference is that the Marathon community is decently versed in literature, and its theories run under that guise, a sort of faux intelligence that lends credibility to our otherwise pure speculation. Halo folk just let is all hang out.
Maybe we're not that different after all. :)
