Aleph One SDL Problem

This is probably not the best place to post this but I dont want to make an account at the Pfhorums. My friend is having problems getting Aleph One to work on his Windows PC. When he opens up Aleph One with Marathon 1, 2 or Infinity it doesn't come up with anything, but you can still hear the background music. What could be wrong with it?
