MML Splash Screens?

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but couldn't find a better one. I'm trying to update Aleph One's splash screen to have something other than the Marathon Infinity (or other scenario) splash screen and menu. The problem I'm running into is that I can't find a decent Images file with a better splash screen and menu, and I'm unable to run ResEdit properly because I'm on a G5 (which only runs Classic, and ResEdit runs poorly in Classic). I've also tried Resorceror with no luck, either.
I know the Images file is now in a new format that doesn't use resource forks, so I shouldn't have to do it this way at all, but if anyone knows what program I'm looking for, or what MML tag I need to just have a PNG overwrite the Images file, it'd be much appreciated.
