Problem with Infinity Films, Please Help
Posted By: Mjolnir MikeDate: 5/5/06 1:17 p.m.

I just re-installed Infinity from the Mac Action Sack onto my new iBook G4 and none of my saved films will play. When I tried to load a film, a message came up saying "A game related error ocurred when attempting to load the map or saved game file." Same thing happens when I try to load saved games, though I'm not as concerned about that for now.

This includes my own films (I'm pretty pissed about the prospect of losing my vid of #33) and other Inf. films I downloaded from the Vidmasters page. My Marathon 2 films and saves are working fine. The gameplay in Inf. is also very choppy (to the almost unplayable point), even after I increased its alotted memory. Again, M2 plays fine.

Does anyone know why my Infinity is messed up and how I can fix it? I've never had any problems with it in the past (on my iBook G3), though its been a few years since I last played. I'd appreciate any help.

P.S. I've been a Story Page reader since circa 1997, but I've never posted on the forum before. Sorry to come in so late and with a problem at that!
