Ok, I downloaded Aleph One

I'm trying to play Marathon 2, but I'm completly illiterate with computers and I have no idea how to get it working. I know that you need to download Aleph One, and I've done that, but I don't know how to get it going from there. I own a copy of Marathon 2, so I don't need to download that, but can someone please explain this to me?
