In Response To: Making a map / scenario cross-platform.. how? (C Lund)

: As the message states - I'd like to know how to make a Marathon TC (yes, I'm
: talking about RX) work on the Linux and Windows versions of AO.

: Or maybe I should just let somebody who has those platforms do this for me?

The next release of Aleph One SDL (and the forthcoming preview 2) will support MacBinary III files encoded by Nutcase MacBinary. Just download that and drop the files on it, remove the .bin, and you'll have SDL-capable versions. The new builds also use Scripts for MML storage so you don't need to rename that folder.

Eventually I'd like to make NIBs builds able to understand MacBinary files, so that one download would work for all platforms. But this isn't the case yet.

Bear in mind SDL builds do not yet support movie playback, or external sound replacement via MML.
