No, but I think a lot of the charm Marathon is the gameplay. I mean I couldn't imagine a Marathon where Durandal has a voice, or where you kill Pfhor in large open areas while you're hanging from vehicles. Hell it would seem wierd to see the enemies display any sort of AI at all.
And they would probably have to get rid of terminals if Marathon was made in a new engine. I would most likely have to kill people if that happened.
