It is probably true. "Ingue Ferroque" does not mean anything, and Jason's correction "Ignie Ferroque" doesn't mean anything either. "Inguine Ferroque" does mean balls of steel. As has been reported on the Latin section of the Story Page, the correct "by fire and sword" would have been "Igni Ferroque".
Clearly it seems more likely that "balls of steel" was the intended meaning. This needs to go on the Story Page :D
