Choose your own path books are somewhat... lacking. As you said the page turning gets annoying.

What may be cool is a few alternate paths that turn out to be dreams while the Marine is in stasis...

While this smacks of Infinity, I think it could be done well.

As far as interesting ideas... I'm really at a loss... :( I'll let you know if I think of anything.
