It's a gag between my housemates and I. When I moved in we had one, very crowded refrigerator shared between four people and with ancient leftovers from housemates past clogging it even further. Then in the space of about one weekend, three of us got mini-fridges for ourselves, we got a second full size fridge, and then discovered that we HAD another full-sized fridge buried in the garage.

So, our home was blessed with many fridges. Sounded like an ancient proverb of some sort, so it is.
